Payment

Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash. Overdue accounts are subject to a service charge in line with Government Guidelines.

Privacy

No Customer data will be sold or given to any third party, whether obtained through the website or through any other means. Windsor and Eton Handyman reserves the right to take photos and videos of the works carried out for use in marketing and advertising including socal media and the internet. All recordings and images will remain the sole copyright of Gareth Chenery-Owen. Discretion will be used to remove locations and identities

Additional Works

Any works additional to the estimate, either verbal or in writing, can incur additional costs at the discretion of Windsor and Eton Handyman. These additional costs can be supplied to the client during or at the end of works at the discretion of Windsor and Eton Handyman.

Cancellation

Time and or Materials.

Upon approval/booking of estimate, any cancellation of works carried out based on the upfront usage of time and or materials will incur a fee. This will be based on time used and time incurred on the return of unused materials rounded up to the nearest day at a rate of £330 per day. Plus the cost of any materials used that cannot be returned. Materials used that cannot be returned will be made available to the client. This is applicable irrespective of price of works.

Non Time and or Materials usage.

Upon approval/booking of estimate. Cancellation of a booking in writing* with works estimated at £300 or above within a 2 full working day period will result in a fee of 35 percent of the Full Value of the estimate.  Full working day based on 8am to 4pm Mon to Fri. Any cancellation with an estimate less than £299.99p with no upfront usage of time and or materials – no cancellation fee will be applied. 

*Writing will only include electronic apps that time stamp for both parties. Eg. email, text. Voicemail is not accepted.

Purchase of materials

Windsor and Eton Handyman does not offer refunds or guarantees against purchased products or materials other than to pass on the consumer guarantees supplied with the purchase.
